Big Bad Wolf Books - The Filinvest Test Alabang

Big Bad Wolf Books at The Filinvest Tent

Southies, Rejoice! The Big Bad Wolf Books is Finally Here in the South of Metro Manila

Book lovers in the South, the wait is over! The Big Bad Wolf Books has finally landed in our territory, and I couldn’t be more excited. Thanks to Bea of Confessions of a Pinay Bookaholic, who got the golden ticket to the VIP day, Eunice of Nerdy Talks Book Blog and I tagged along for what turned out to be a bookish adventure.

Was I planning to buy any books? Nope. Was I hunting for anything specific? Not really. But was I going to the book sale anyway? You bet I was!

Let’s be honest, it might seem a little pointless to attend a book sale if you have no intention of buying anything. But here’s the thing—I love the simple joy of being surrounded by books. There’s something about browsing through countless shelves, each stacked with potential new adventures, that just fills my soul. And while I wasn’t planning on making any purchases, I was definitely open to the possibility of a book calling out to me. Plus, I’ve got a few incomplete series in my collection, and if fate had decided to bring one of those missing books my way, who am I to resist a bit of spontaneous shopping?

As expected, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale did not disappoint. There were tons of fantastic selections across all genres. My friends and I are always on the hunt for great romance, literature, and thriller books. I spotted a few interesting titles, but none that quite captured my heart enough to make me whip out my wallet—until I found Before I Let Go by Kennedy Ryan. This was my Book of the Month choice last year, but I never got around to actually getting it. The stars aligned, and it ended up being my one and only purchase of the day.

The best part of the entire experience? Spending the day with my bookish besties. We had a blast, laughing our way through the aisles and sharing our love for all things literary. And to top it off, I even made some new friends like Koji and Jocas, whose company added even more fun to the day. It’s always great to connect with fellow bookworms, especially at an event like this.

So, if you’re in the South and haven’t hit up the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale yet, what are you waiting for? It’s happening at The Filinvest Tent in Alabang from August 23 to September 1st, open from 10am to midnight. Don’t miss your chance to score books at up to 95% off—while supplies last, of course! Admission is free, so you really have no excuse not to drop by. Happy book hunting!
