Last month’s goal setting has encouraged me to do more than what I would normally do. It gave me the drive to keep working on the things that needed attention in my life. Listing my achievements have also inspired me to keep going and just keep striving to be better and do better. While all my goals were set up at the start of the year, I realized that having a monthly focused breakdown will actually help me accomplish more than trying to do them all at the same time.
So I’m a week late (again) for this list but I’ve given this some thought before April ended. Last month’s productivity made me feel so good about myself and I know I can keep it up now that I’ve got a momentum. It made me feel like I’m doing such a good job at adulting at 33.
May Goal: Organized and Decluttered
Last week was pretty hectic for me. I spent most of the days cleaning up and moving stuff around because I offered to host our photoshoot session at my place. It added pressure to get things sorted out before Sunday. That makes it a great start for my May goals, right? There’s still a lot of things to do but the house was presentable enough to entertain guests.
I live in a small studio apartment with 5 dogs. We rarely get visitors or invite people over because of the dogs. We also don’t have as much stuff as we used to, but there’s still a lot of decluttering to be done. To help me sort things out, I made a list of things to do and where I want to put the furniture. I used to just try to remember things, fooling myself into believing I could remember it all, but I finally gave in and accepted that my memory kinda sucks.
So that’s what my May looks like. Cleaning and decluttering and organizing. What about you? What do you plan to accomplish this month?
