Mom and I went out for dinner last week. I suggested we try something new, a restaurant we haven’t been to before. We were going around Mall of Asia when we saw KKK Food Revolution. My mom was in the mood for Filipino food so we went inside and ordered.
Sinigang Salmon P290 Ulo at tiyan ng salmon na niluto sa sinampalukang sabaw |
Sinangag sa Tinapa at Itlog na Maalat P150 Kaning puti na guinisa sa itlog na maalat, kamatis at tinapa flakes |
Garlic Pusit P250 Guisadong pusit sa wansuy, oyster sauce at maraming bawang |
Buko pandan juice P140 |
Mom also ordered Guinataang Pancit [pancit canton, iba’t ibang gulay at sahog na guinisa at niluto sa red curry at gata] (not in photo) for take out. Their serving is good for 2 and everything is delicious. The rice alone is good enough to make your stomach full. We were bloated by the time we were done eating, we could not not finish our dinner. I would definitely go back to this place and try something else.

Yum! I’m jealous. Buko pandan. Fresh young coconuts are hard to come by in my part of the world. Always frozen buko meat in Asian groceries, if you can find it.
But I question the restaurant’s unfortunate use of KKK – acronym for Ku Klux Klan. Kinda dumb. Mmm, racist restaurant food! LOLZ.
I’m sorry it took me so long to drop by and comment. Swamped with work and end-of-year projects (Christmas time crunch, uggh).

No problem. I haven’t dropped by your blog yet too. I will do it later.
KKK is what they called the revolutionary group back in the day. 😉
