O hai. I meant to do this sooner, like last week, but I was…erh..busy. Anywho… How was your Christmas? Mine was a bit uneventful as we spent it in bed, playing games on our phones. Heh.
I’m just here for some game reviews of ones I really liked since I got my new phone.
Plants vs. Zombies 2
Aawyeah! I was one of the people who got addicted to Plants vs. Zombies when it first came out years ago. When the 2nd version came out, I so wanted to play it but my previous phone was outdated.
I love the new themes and quests, and they’re really challenging. I would get frustrated when I cannot beat the zombies. I would try a different world and get back to it at a later time.
Oh right, if you didn’t know it yet, PvZ2 has different worlds you can play.
So far I finished the Pyramids, and I’m in the middle of Pirate Seas and Wild West. I also just started the futuristic theme which is kinda hard.
My planting skills is still a bit O.C. I plant them symmetrically and it bothers me a little when I have to do it differently.
Overall I am enjoying this game so much and I am so happy that it is an offline game.
Dragons: Rise of Berk
Another game I started playing is Rise of Berk, from the movie How to Train Your Dragon 2.
Mostly you have Toothless and Hiccup go to islands in search of dragon eggs. They would return with fish or wood or runes or eggs. The eggs you have to hatch and you would train the dragons to level up. You would then use the dragons to get fish or wood, and eventually fight raiding pirate ships. There is also a story to follow.
It is an online based game, and it takes a while to load with my crappy internet connection so I might uninstall it.
Sim City BuildIt
As the title indicates, you build a city by producing materials. This one is a time based game. The materials take minutes to produce and it’s kinda frustrating because there’s nothing to do while you wait. So it’s like, I open the game, collect materials, upgrade or build buildings, produce more materials, then close the game. I can’t wait to have a proper city to play with. I’m not very good with waiting patiently to play a game.
It’s an online based game that can be played offline. You only need internet to sync the game.
It’s a new puzzle game I found on the play store. It is offline and great for passing time. You connect dots of the same color to fulfill a quest in a limited number of moves.
I also checked out how far the games goes and I think it would keep me entertained for a long time and it would probably have updates.
I like puzzle games from time to time. It exercises my brain, in a way, and pretty relaxing.
Clash of Clans
Oh yes, the addictive online multiplayer game. I stopped playing this game from my old phone but when I found out my colleagues had a clan, I decided to play again with them.
It really is an addictive game. You also get to chat so it’s a plus that you get support from clanmates.
So that pretty much sums up the games I play on my phone, these games kept me occupied last Christmas and it might be the same this New Year. There’s about an hour left before 2014 ends, I’ll be having dinner and prop up a movie in a while to watch with mom.
HAPPY 2015 EVERYONE!
