Homemade Banana Ice Cream

One things you should know about me is that I’m a monkey. I eat as many bananas as I can and I don’t get tired of it, especially if it’s sweet.

Last January, Kate shared how she made banana ice cream and I just had to try it. It’s very easy to do too!

I cut up like 5 bananas and placed them in the freezer overnight.

The problem was, I didn’t have a blender or a food processor or whatever similar. But then, I saw an unlabeled box, opened it, and discovered that we did have a food processor but it was 110 volts instead of 220. Luckily, I recently found my transformer.

I didn’t have chocolate powder, we only had leftover all purpose cream so I added a bit of that and when I tasted how it turned out, OMG IT WAS SO GOOD!

I used an approximate of 2 1/2 bananas to make this much. I wanted to make more but I only had a few bananas left in the freezer and mom han’t had any yet. When she did, she loved it as much as I did.

It really does feel like ice cream and I think it’s healthier since it’s natural. I was thinking of other fruits I could turn into something like this and all I could think about was avocado. That would taste great.

I asked mom to buy more bananas so I could make more ice cream tomorrow. Some day we’ll make avocado ice cream. <3

My mom would just chop up some avocado, add sweet condensed milk, mix, chill and serve. Sometimes, we end up with a too mushed avocado that it turns out similar to eating soft ice cream. YUM!!!!
