Manny Many Prizes with Frances Pascua

Last Saturday, I brought my new found friend Frances Pascua to the live show of Manny Many Prizes. I picked her up from where she was staying and would you believe I got lost and ended up going the wrong way. Instead of heading north to GMA, I was on the south bound heading back to Ayala. WTH right? But I remembered there was a u-turn somewhere near Buendia so I was back on track….

Divisoria finds

Mom and I went to Divisoria last week to buy giveaways for Christmas. She bought pens and bags and other stuff that she can hand people as small tokens. I bought gifts for my godchildren. Mom was there to pick up the curtain lining for a friend and while we were waiting, I went around the mall and found nice clothes and asked my mom if she could buy me one. She bought me two….

KKK Food Revolution

Mom and I went out for dinner last week. I suggested we try something new, a restaurant we haven’t been to before. We were going around Mall of Asia when we saw KKK Food Revolution. My mom was in the mood for Filipino food so we went inside and ordered. Here’s what we ordered: Sinigang Salmon P290Ulo at tiyan ng salmon na niluto sa sinampalukang sabaw Sinangag sa Tinapa at Itlog na Maalat P150Kaning puti na…

Experiencing Distrito

Last Friday, I invited my good friend Mia Lopez to have dinner/pig out in Banchetto, I posted it in plurk and asked other friends if they wanted to join us. Ade suggested that we meet in Distrito instead, it’s similar to Banchetto and it’s in Makati. Mia and I headed to Distrito a bit later than planned, expecting to meet with Ade and Jepoy. Since they weren’t there yet when we arrived, we proceeded to…

Where’s Damon?

I have yet to write the full story about my pugs but this is just too cute to let pass. Damon is one of the puppies we have. He’s half-pug, half-shih tzu, and has a mixed brown-white color. We were surprised when he came out. Damon is born from Cyndi and MJ [yes, they are siblings], which makes him and Stefan special. [I named them after the Salvatore brothers from The Vampire Diaries]. One of…

Failed Photo Shoot

In my last entry, I wrote and dumped photos from the meeting we had for the November 19 shoot in Laguna. That was a fail, because their ride got stuck in traffic while Mia and I were waiting at out meeting point in Alabang Town Center. RJ called us and said they were going to re-schedule it because they’ve been waiting for hours and Mia and I can’t stay overnight at the resort. We went back…

Almost Forgot That Time in McDo

Around September, my online friends, Ade and Jepoy, asked if they could schedule a photo shoot with Mia, seeing as we needed to build her portfolio and they needed the practice. The planning has been going on in Facebook chat until we finally agreed on a date where everyone was available, November 19, and the venue is in a resort Ade’s grand parents own in Laguna. They wanted to meet a day before to plan what things…
