shih tzu in the near future

My mom had a passenger who offered to give us a shih tzu pup because theirs just delivered puppies and they already had a lot of dogs in the house. We visited her the other day and she was already asking if we were going to take the puppy with us. Mom said, “no, not yet”, and when i asked her when we’re going to get the pup, she said, “we’ll get her when i get back from Vancouver”. I’m so excited! Before we got Kendo, i really wanted a small dog that can be taken care of easily, one that fits in a bag that you can bring anywhere. My first thoughts were Shih Tzus but her friends told her to get a pug instead. Not that i am not happy with our little baby, but Kendo is around 8.1 kilos and is now to big and heavy for the doggie bag mom bought years ago. Having a little shih tzu would be fun, and i do want to train it like i did with Kendo.

Right now i’m thinking of dog names, i have searched in web sites such as dog-names.us and FunDogNames.com. So far, i like the following names:

  1. Hadiya – An Arabic name meaning gift, i forgot the other meaning the site indicated.
  2. Akira – means anchor. i just like the sound of it.
  3. Odette – means little wealthy one

And a couple of names i like:

  1. Castiel – is a character from the TV show Supernatural. I liked the sound of the name.
  2. Darna – this would be a fun name for the dog because you’d be shouting it if the dog gets away. Just as like how we shout Kendo/Señor’s name when they run away. LOL
